At Bonito Foundation, we use football as a force for positive social change.

Girls’ and women’s football is an ongoing part of our work. We regularly publish interviews and stories with women across the game. Players, coaches, leaders, founders and others helping make football better.

Right now, one of the projects we are working on is Coach Her, which gives us an opportunity to do more of that storytelling specifically around women in coaching and leadership.

Coach Her is a collaboration between Fútbol Más France, Elitfotboll Dam (EFD) and us at Bonito Foundation, and is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Sport programme.

Coach Her is a 2026 project.
Our work with girls’ and women’s football is not.
That work is ongoing, and the stories and relationships we build through Coach Her are part of something we want to keep developing well beyond the project itself.

There is no single path into coaching.

You might have been coaching for years. You might have just started. You might still be playing and beginning to think about what comes next. You might combine coaching with another role in football, be returning to the game in a new capacity, or simply be figuring out where you want to go next.

You do not need a long coaching career, an impressive title or a perfectly mapped-out plan. We are interested in the reality of different journeys through football. We want to hear those different stories.
